About Us
Founded and run by self-acknowledged collar addicts Jessica and Elaine, Aroo Studio makes
pups fashionable while keeping the earth in mind. Each Aroo Studio item
is made with love by hand, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to
support animal rescue.
Fueled by a love of dogs (like our Aroo Studio mascot, a beagle named Splash) and a desire for earth friendly dog collars, Aroo Studio was born.
As advocates for organic and eco-friendly products, when it came to dog collars and leashes the options available were bland and boring. Convinced that earth friendly doesn’t mean dull, we decided to make our own.
Made by hand, Aroo Studio collars and leashes feature patterned ribbons sewn to sturdy hemp as well as designer cotton fabrics brightening cotton webbing.
Named for the merry howl of a hound, Aroo Studio products are made to order in Point Richmond & Sonoma California. Take a peek into our tiny home studio below!

We make eco-conscious choices when selecting our materials. We choose natural materials whenever possible, and primarily use sustainable materials such as cotton, organic cotton, and hemp. Our products are soft and comfortable for your pet and washable too. Our products are handmade from scratch here in California.
Custom made by Hand
All our products are handcrafted from high quality, durable materials. In addition to our standard sizes, we can custom make collars to size. Just contact us and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
Supporting Animals in Need
Supporting animal rescue organizations is very important to us. We believe that every dog deserves a warm & loving home, and do what we can to help with pet overpopulation. We donate collars & leashes to organizations that need them, and a portion of our proceeds are donated to support animal rescue.
